The easiest way to become comfortable wearing your diaper/pull-ups in public is to simply wear them in public. You'll come to realize nobody is paying attention and nobody cares, and then you'll be able to relax and get back to living.

Being scared of having accident is always going to be a part of being incontinent. But I always have a change of clothes with me and enough diaper to cover all trips. Like Porkchop said, most people are so wrapped up in there own life's to notice you are wearing a diaper. Wear your protection and get out and have fun.
