So sorry to hear about this green bank! I've had times like that where even the protection im weraing wasnt enough to stop the onslaught of urine, and I left a puddle on the flooor. Thankfully, this has only happeend at home Knock on wood. I fear however, that this reoccurance will happen more now that my medicaid supplier only offers the cheap brands.
Do you have access to products like Abena and Molicare, or Confidry? You may want to try those. Also, this june a new product came available. IT is a pocket diaper designed by an incontient indiviudal. I don't know if they would ship to the UK, but you can always ask. The person designing the inserts uses a combinaiton of flannel and terry hemp, which allows for both quick absorption and high capacity. In time past, when looking at diaper specs, i noticed it was either a choice between a good acquisiton rate or a higher total capacity.
We all have had unexpected floods and when times like this happen, you just have to roll with the punches. Greenbank, have you considered weraing underwear, and a pair of plastic pants over the diaper? I have done just that, and it has saved me more than once when protection proved not quite adequate for output.
I gotta go.. I'm teaching 3rd grade today.
Peace out!
