Mlhr,
Agreed! Most of us feel the same. I certainly know that I do.
Many of the articles on incontinence underemphasize the emotional aspect. I have discussed things here that I never have discussed face-to-face with anyone. Besides, who would really understand? Unfortunately, there are relatively few face-to-face support groups on incontinence. At any given time, most towns and small cities do not have one.
IMHO the emotional aspect has the potential to be even more limiting than the physical aspects of incontinence. It helps to be able to share with others who have similar experiences and can understand what you are going through. Talking it out is good.
If you ever have an issue that you prefer not to discuss in the public forum, send a PM to almost any of the members here and they will be glad to discuss it with you privately.
