I still check from time to time but have to admit that it has been very quiet of late.

I'm still figuring out retirement and dealing with IC. These days I have F-IC pretty much under control by avoiding butter/margarine. It took me a lot of diet experiments to figure that one out! If I stay home in the morning, I can enjoy a coffee again. I just need the toilet nearby at the 2-3 hour mark.

My diabetes keeps the U-IC train going. During the day, I wear a TENA pull-up for insurance against surprise accidents. But most of the time I have enough warning to use the toilet. Sometimes I am tempted to go back to underwear, until some close call or accident occurs.

At night the urges remain a problem requiring a diaper. And sometimes a BM starts immediately upon getting out of bed. That's embarrassing but kept under a pj. It makes me reluctant to vacation with shared cabin rental.

But otherwise doing ok and looking forward to the summer months!

Hi Schoppy,

I haven't been here for a while, as got busy. I broke my foot in three places last year, and was in plaster for 6-8 weeks, and have been having physio ever since, so that has taken up a lot of time.
Had last physio session last week and have been released, as I have excelled at all the exercises I was given.
Now walking on foot normally, but it does go a bit red and I get tired easily. Hope after a few more weeks things will get better.

I just thought i would reconnect and let everyone know I am still about.

Aurora.

I'm glad that it is starting to get warmer. Winter is nice to look at through the window of my warm house, hehehe, but it is time to have some nice warm weather LOL

My Koi fish in my pond are starting to swim around a lot more and I have crocus flowers blooming and my new tulips are starting to come up.

I'm sure glad that it is starting to be spring.

Yes, our black piles of snow are melting away, finally. And I am getting out for hour long walks more often. We're in an apartment now but I used to enjoy watching the crocus flowers appear as the first sign of spring. I miss that.

Hi all. It's been awhile for me to read (let alone post) in here. As others have said, just got caught up with the stuff of life (i.e., busy!). As life would have it we (wife & I) are slowly spending more and more time in Panama with the end goal (later this year) that that will become our new permanent residence. We really love the heat (we were always "desert rats") and the humidity is great for the skin (and yes, it does make for life in diapers a bit of a challenge, but manageable after some adjustments!).

Hope all are doing as well as can be expected!

Blessings.
