I would still prefer do be diaper free, and regain my control but not with the use of drugs and the possibility of long term side effects and possible addiction issues.

As to the addiction question: After taking it religiously for over 8 months, I have no symptoms of addiction whatsoever. This is not the same as an opioid (or even medical marijuana for that matter). What I do notice is that if I forget to take it a couple times in a row (I take 5 mg AM and 5 mg PM) my pain and mobility issues may start to return.

I have become quite accustomed to and comfortable with wearing diapers to manage my IC as well, and I had no expectation that that would ever change. I have to say, though, that being out of diapers for extended periods is a welcome change, especially since I have reduced my diaper usage significantly and by extension am saving quite a bit of money in supplies.

Hi 5bugles,

I wonder how you are right now, did the CBD do the trick for you in the long run?

Best regards,

It is too soon to tell if the improved IC issues will last or if it is just a cycle. I have had short periods (a couple weeks at a time) in the past where I was able to go without a diaper as long as I was within a minute or so of a bathroom, but this seems "different" than those times, as I am getting signals now, as opposed to either timed voiding or a mad dash to the toilet. I guess time will tell.

As for the back pain and mobility issues, I can say that I won't go without CBD in the future. It has truly been a game changer for me. I do still have pain at times and bad days, but overall it has enabled me to get my life back. Working for several hours at my business on a concrete floor is now do-able, though I do get ouchy and stiff after several days in a row. I spent two days putting down new vinyl plank flooring at my business and am also in the process of building a workshop and office in the back yard. It is on hold now until the weather breaks, but I wouldn't have attempted it before the CBD.

I take drops under my tongue and have also used it topically for pain and things like bug bites, bee stings, etc. I take 5 mg AM and 5 mg PM. I also have some gummies that I will take from time to time, just to switch it up.

I have found that it can take a while to find the right "dose" for you, as I think it is very individualized. Also, much depends on the brand and credibility of the specific oil one uses. There is a lot of stuff out there being sold as CBD that has little or no CBD in it, and is mostly fillers and a cheap carrier oil. The brand I use is lab tested, etc. and is $89 a bottle, but it lasts me about 3 months.
