So, I posted about the underwear taking up valuable storage space in my storage room unused, and several of you said you made rags out of yours. For those of you who perfer wearing cloth, have any tried taking underwear layers and combining them to make absorbent inserts? IF so, how many did you need? How much can they absorb? Just trying to think outside the box. If I cant use them in my diaeprs so be it, just trying to think outside the box.. my inventory needs inserts :)

Peace out!

Rob

Hey Rob:
Flour Sack Cloths from WalMart make excellent cloth inserts. They're 100% cotton and measure about 28" square, best of all you get 5 for under $5. I use them in a disposable at night folded into 6 or 8 layers with a PUL pant over everything. They work great when traveling and you can just rinse them out when wet or they are cheap enough that you can just dispose of them with your diaper.
