Just wanted to let you all know that I am out of the hospital. I have about 5 prescriptions which include migraine medicine (The infection I have effects nerves which cause headaches like migraines) pain pills and antibiotics. Im glad to be home and not laying in some hospital bed. All of my nurses were super cool. When one noticed that I was embarrassed to be having her change me she said "you have this. It does not define you ". A lightbulb kinda went off in my head and I wasn't embarrassed anymore. I even joked with some of the nurses about it. I've got a slew of appointments coming up but at least until Wednesday I'll be home resting.

It's called butalbital and it has codiene Tylenol and caffeine in it. Apparently the caffeine helps with these types of headaches. They told me to drink lots of coffee and I was just like "no problem!" I used to work at Starbucks and they got me hooked on the stuff.

johnstone - I'm about 3 weeks out now and honestly I'm not sure. I've gotten some relief but I'm not sure it was worth it. I will say my implant specialist can still do some tweaking so there is hope. My neurosurgeon recommended that I be prescribed tramadol until we get to that point. So basically its kinda too early to tell. But I did not get an immediate full relief of pain.
