Mike, Really? You do not "Want to wear a REAL diaper!" Instead you call what you are wearing what? 'Adult pull-on absorbent underpants?'. Then a simple solution is to wear 'adult tape-on absorbent underwear,' like most people here, or adult pin-on absorbent underwear. That way you never have to wear a "real" diaper. You will wet all the above items, but at least you will only be wetting in 'adult tape-on absorbent underpants and not wetting in a diaper. Problem solved! Papa
A rose by any other name...or size, or shape.

What is defeat? It is not in my dictionary. I eschewed it a very long while ago

Defeat; The realization you need to adjust your original expectations so you come away having broken even.
Well, at least that's own definition any ways.

ordered some Northshore Supreme Lites. I guess we'll see how wearing diapers all the time goes.

Just be ready to go through an adjustment period. There will be times you'll feel depressed or simply just not want to be diapered. This is normal for life changes like this, and will pass as you learn it really isn't the end of your life after all.

I too find the ConfiDry work well for me, and nobody notices so you can rest easy on that front. As for the irrational thoughts dealing with it, in my PTSD classes they call that 'stinkin thinkin' and I too suffer from it. Just try a more positive self talk, it really does help.

Porkchop is right. I wear ConfiDry 24/7's too. I usually wear jeans and, although the Dry 24/7 definitely is a bulky diaper, absolutely no one could ever tell that I am wearing a diaper.

Of course, in the beginning I was a bit nervous about that.

And it's worth repeating. A thin diaper that has leaked is WAY more noticable than a thick one that has done its job.

I opted to manage my urge with diapers 24/7 this works for me. To be honest looking back after overcoming the initial discomfort of getting us to having a pad between my legs and psychological embarrassment I wish I had taken this option years ago could not be more happy now.
