You can solve the moving aroung be pining the corners with saftey pins. The pinholes aren't water proof but in the corners it shouldn't make a difference.
If you want, you can get the broad tape the use for closing boxes. Run the saftey pins through the tape and then tape it to the bed pad. Now you can pin it to your sheets with the plastic backing intact.

Maybe I just have a different way of thinking about this but to me, having to wear a diaper at night, I want to NOT feel babyish or anything like that. I'm not even a huge fan of using the word diaper, but sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade. Maybe it's just a hangup I have but being a bedwetter I'd rather not have kids bedwetting products around, it just wouldn't make me feel very good about things. To each his own though. I wasn't passing judgment, if it came off that way.

It does feel silly to wear babyish prints, but anyway you slice it wearing a diaper is somewhat babyish. If you want to go to the core being incontinent is what makes you like a baby. You just have to deal with it the best you can. If a diaper is the best way you do it even if that is the way it is dealt with for babies. If you can get something that looks less babyish of course you you should use it, but if you can't using a babyish looking product isn't much different than using any diaper.

I feel that wearing an adult diaper that has a “baby” design on it will not make you a baby. No matter what the diaper looks like it is just your underwear. When I buy my diapers I look for the best price, I do not care what it looks like. I am the only one that sees it. If it works for me then as I said, the best price is what I go for.

I've always followed the old saying "form follows function". It has to work good before it looks like anything. If it looks good (adult) but doesn't work good to, then it's a bunch of crap that shouldn't be used in the first place.

I'm with RetiredRN and Brian on this. I am confident in my maturity and masculinity and insignificant stuff like the design of my underwear (or diapers) does not bother me. It just has to get the job done well. Besides, I would not go around showing anyone my underwear or my diapers, regardless of their having designs or prints.

However, I acknowledge that the decision might have been more difficult for me when I was younger. All please note that I completely respect those who hold opposing views.

Ah! A tempest in a tea pot. One feels/looks like a baby when one tapes on a blue disposable diaper or after pinning on a cloth diaper and pulling on a yellow pair of plastic pants (anything other than white.) Hmmmmm! Strange how one (we) perceive what we feel like depending on the outer appearance of our diapers. The fact than under that white, yellow, pink, blue, printed outer cover is actually a diaper that we are going to use seems to be over looked. We are wearing diapers my friends and NOTHING is more babyish than that...but then again...not long ago.... This same discussion thread seemed to focus on disposable diapers and the fact that they had printing (size, make, brand) on the outside. Worst even was (and is) that damn wetness indicator...WHAT, we don't know that our diaper is wet? We need a disappearing or color changing strip to tell us our diaper needs to be changed? Do any of you drop your pants or lift your dress at regular intervals to where that wetness strip is at to see if your diaper needs changing? No. But we argued that we wanted diapers that were just plain (white of course) because all that stuff made us feel like we were in a geriatrics ward or nursing home. It made us feel like invalids or old or that we were not in charge of our own lives. "A rose by any other name...." Many here, before diapers were our "underwear", had colors and prints on our underwear. Now we have to stop because our soaking wet diapers will look babyish or more babyish if they are not white. Phoohy. The real problem seems to be not that one might wear "babyish looking" diapers or covers, but that they actually bother to say that they do. Is that a lead in to the feared ABdl world or simply a "Does any one else do this?" question.

Agreed that plain white is geriatric and boring. I can go for non-white diapers. However, how about adult themes like Real-Tree camouflage, stars and stripes, or adult cars like Ferraris? I'd even go for colorful abstract modern art themes!

What the heck, guys? last time I shopped for underwear there were all sorts of patterns and colours. Why not at least some limited choice for 'our underwear'? It is all too clinical and all to often has instructions for carers not for users.
