I can second this. It does work, although you really need to be sure of exactly where the tape should end up- before putting pulling it up.

To fasten the tapes before taking the diaper on doesn't work well with my
female forms. My thighs are too thick, so the fit when I get the diaper on is too loose.
Maybe the techniqe is more of a guy thing...
The shoulder is anyway a little bit better today. I can hold a cup,
and brushed my teeth without too much pain. Improvement!

I've heard that before. Maybe you could just pre-tape the one side, then put it on and tape on the the other side with your still good hand?
