It worked at that time.
After receiving my two cases, I thought I’d purchase more, but the offer was changed to only include specific briefs, unfortunately for me the plastic backed style wasn’t on the updated list.
They do have several of the other cloth backed still on sale.

So ... I usually wear the plastic backed abena L4, but I'm thinking about ordering the air plus version to get the deal.
I'm a bedwetter only, so I'm not all that concerned about noise, odor, or sag. I am concerned about fit, and leaks. Anyone want to advise me on any differences I should know about here, before I put my dime down and order.

Hey MSU, Like you I was concerned about pin hole leaks and complaints of dampness. I've never had cloth backed disposable diapers and dangerously few disposables of any kind either. I do use cloth so I have plastic pants. I figured for the price of the abenas on sale, I'd try them with the plastic pants. If they leak, no problem that way. If there's no leaks, I'll loose the plastic pants. At half price there's no way I could pass the abenas up.
Four cases for 168 bucks. I questioned if I over bought. When they got here, HOLY CRAP! there's a mountain of diapers in the corner,
Oh yeah, they evidently got bombed with orders. I called them thinking I got burned. They said they were sold out and waiting for a new shipment. I got them 2 days ago. 14 days after ordering. So beware it might take some time to get them.

There are a few major differences between an L4 and the Air pluses. In general, cloth-backed disposable diapers are not waterproof on the sides, in fact they have a very thin plastic backing that runs the length of the diaper. This plastic strip works ok enough when you are standing up, but since it doesn't wrap around the back of your legs it allows for many more leaks when sitting or laying down. If you're a side sleeper then you can forget about these diapers ever working for you too.
Also, since the plastic backing is much thinner, it will stretch much more than a regular plastic diaper will. If you toss and turn at night, then you will find you'll wake up with a very loose fit. This loose fit can also lead to more leaks overnight as well.
Generally speaking you may be able to get away with a cloth like disposable during the day, but they don't work very good for overnight use. Stick with the L4's if they are already working for you.

Too late, I ordered some on the 31st.
On the up side, I sleep face down, and I sleep like I'm dead. I think I barely move at all.
