It is my fault, I had just been binge watching Dexter and Hannibal when I saw that post..... my mind went in all kinds of... 'odd'.... directions.

Sorry, I looked into what was being hinted. There are a lot of people out there that need a lot of help.

hilarious Mike, but this post got my curiosity and never knew there was such a thing as a medical fetish. The things people will do to themselves. As my wife as said and still says I live a shelter life.

MLHJR, I learned in one of my many PTSD support groups at the VA that if you don't laugh at life you'll end up crying on your floor, curled up in the fetal position.

Batman, you name an object and I guarantee that there is someone out there who fetishizes it somewhere. I am just libertarian enough to not care, so long as all parties are consenting adults. Besides, I have my own quirks....

.... sometimes I thrown empty bottles at my TV when UVA has a rough quarter or the All Blacks aren't living up to there potential!! Oh, and when some bloke wants to put footie on the tellie!!! LOL 8)

Mike, I am starting to figure that out. I just haven't got there yet, they say laugh about and I have for the most part, but I am sure time will help me with that.

I know this is morphing into a different subject. I agree laughing is a great cooping mechanism and I do it most of the time. I just hate when I go to what I call my dark places when I have so much to be thankful for. Just that alone makes me feel bad.

I guess you just have to fake it until you make it. Sometimes when people see me smiling and laughing, joking around like I've not got a care in the world I am crying inside. When I was at my lowest point, thinking of ending what the insurgents started, I was laughing so much with the guys that I could've done stand up. It helps you cope, but it can also help you hide/shield things too.

There is something to be said for facing your darkest demons, as long as you hide from them you cant slay them. The trick is realizing that sometimes the demons win and sometimes you have to kill them multiple times.
