This forum has been up for many years and was NEVER associated with beeter or any other ab/dl web sites.
I personally dont care if someone is ab/dl or not, as long as there are no posts about it.

I started this forum, not beeter, ME. Many years ago because I wanted a web site that true incon folks can come to and find out better ways to cope and deal with incontinence issues. When I started this forum there was very few websites that had information on how to deal with incontinence issues but there was many more that had nothing but fetish stuff. I wanted something better than the others. I wanted THIS website and forum. I think we have a great group of people here and have helped make this site what it is. A caring Community of true incon people.

I don't see the connection to ABDL?? Why mention it at all

I really appreciate a dedicated site like this, which aims to help other people who are dealing with incontinence, with advice, support.

We are discussing protection, and the availability of decent / excellent products and (in my post) the pricing of such items.
In my reply I state, that part of the reason you can find reasonable priced products somewhat is contributed from other people which might be ABDL, however due to their purchases they actually help keeping the prices down + + makes other things available for us incon. people, like special underwear and so on.


Who have never bought commodities from a site in which the very name of the site refers to some sort of ABDL ism i.e. Babykins, Babypants etc. - such companies supply some great products which really benefits incon people and they serve the ABDL community as well, and so what?

So despite I don't want to be associated with any ABDL isms, I benefit from them anyway.

Maybe as an entry to join incontinence support, people should be obliged to share their story and argue why they should be granted access to this site (Incontinence support).

I have tried very hard to keep this site out of the hands of the ab/dl group.
Like I said, I have no problem with someone being ab/dl, just as long as they dont post about it on this site.
I know that the ab/dl group of ppl HAVE helped in getting us better protection, through their own buying of personal products.
Manufacturers have increased the number of diapers made and have made them better over the years.
Like you said, they have also helped in making the prices of diapers cheaper and a larger selection of supplies.

That being said, I have not tried the REARZ diapers. Are they any good?

I only have one prefold from REARZ, it performs like every other prefold.....with the same absorption.
Although maybe the feeling of it, might be a bit more soft.

Mr.g People come to this and other sites (Diseases, PTSD, Veterans, social, etc.) for many reasons. "Misery enjoys company!" "Acceptance" "It is a good feeling to realize you are not alone, the only one," and many more reasons. Some are lonely and seek comfort being accepted by others. Face book is a big example. Few here have not gathered or given advice about this condition. You certainly can understand that. Why do you feel the way you do, honestly? I am sure the members here are of many ilk and yes that may include people who are in the fetish. But here it is kept down pretty much. What drives you to attack? Papa

I too have benefited from my association with AB/DL folks. When I first became incontinent, in my desperate flailing about I chanced upon folks, whom I later discovered were AB/DL, who patiently taught me much of what I would need to know to manage. They never understood how painful my neurogenic bladder could be, so I eventually stopped complaining about it. I think Schoppy is merely re-stating the obvious. This should not be interpreted as an attack; it is merely who we are. Incontinence management is not fun-and-games for us; it is all too real, too embarrassing, too frustrating, and, for some of us, it is extremely painful. I guess I can imagine how AB/DL folks could find amusement in their pretend incontinence. However, when bladder and/or colon pain have/has me curled in a fetal position on my bed, praying hard for my next dose of morphine, when I vomit in my sleep, when a colon spasm makes me soil myself in public, imagination is about as close to AB/DLs as I can get.

I have been a member of this web site since 2008, and the ONLY reason why I am a member is because this is a NON AB/DL web site and continues to be dedicated to REAL incon folks thanks to the hard work of Schoppy, and many others that help keep site going. THANK YOU!

In reading some of the posts above, there is mention that the AB/DL community is responsible at least in part for many of the improved products we use now. I never gave this any thought until I read it and then that made me wonder if the AB/DL community is larger than the millions and millions of incon folks? Again, I never gave it much thought until now, but I know if you do a Google for adult diapers you will come up with dozens of AB web sites so I know that must be a large community as well. Interesting,.......

A few thoughts. First I ordered from rearz about 3 weeks ago. I have received nothing and have heard nothing from them yet. I ordered because of price, sometimes a bad choice. I will let you know one way or the other how that works out.
Second, I can not believe that the fetish part of wearing diapers is really a significant number when compared to the number of incontinent people. You hear all sorts of numbers. 60 million Americans have incontinence, really? One in five people? And we worry if anyone notices our diapers, pads, etc.? I have known only one person that it was noticeable that he wore diapers, a co-worker and actually it was pointed out by another co-worker. If the figures are only half of what some report that is a huge number still. Numbers drive the buying power of any group.
Lastly, the AB/DL part of diaper wearing. If this group was divided into those who simply like to wear diapers with no need and those who wear because of need and have found comfort in the life style it further reduces their numbers. We focus way too much attention on a tiny group of people. I think we allow our incontinence to lower our self image and the DL crowd angers us because we do not want another thing to lower it more. We have to focus on the positives and not the negatives. Papa

Now, I really do not think wearing diapers because you enjoy them, and not that you need them is something that should be condoned, I also do not think we should judge people, nor products, due to it. It is true that the AB/DL crown has helped get some improvements on some products, and I fully agree that it is okay for those of us that are incontinent to make use of those products.

Now, to clear something up, I also fully support anyone who is incontinent, and has come to enjoy the freedom that wearing diapers provides. We have to live with them, maybe some for short times, many for rest of lives. I do not see an issue with coming to enjoy them as a way of coping. I also understand when some people finally get to the point of saying they no longer care who knows or sees that they wear diapers. It is a medical issue, and as people tell me, we can't control it, so why should we feel embarrassed about having to wear something to help with a medical issue?

I for one, wish I was not incontinent, and rather get tired of the diaper changes, and the cleanup of said supplies. However, I am learning to not care who knows or sees, and live my life for the one person's opinions that matter most... MINE.
Forget what others think, if they don't like it, they can go jump off a bridge, for all I care.

Yes, I enjoy the ability not to have to change clothes every time I wet myself, and the freedom to live as normally as I can wearing diapers. That does not mean that I have a sexual fetish for them, but rather that I have come to terms that I have to wear them, so why be upset all the time. That in itself, is a major stress reducer.
