Twice today I was frozen with fear just to stand up expecting to see a wet spot. Ugh!!! I was relieved to find out that my expensive, plastic backed diapers held me down. Great, right?...I guess. I'll take sounding like a walking garbage bag if I don't ruin my chair.

Hey CG

There are diapers that are plastic backed that don't crinkle. Abena, BetterDry, and other premium brands don't crinkle with the exception of ConfiDry and Northshore Supreme. Hope this helps!

Peace out!

Rob

Thankyou Rob,
I use Abena and NS Supreme. They work well for me. They don't sound that loud in reality. I was cynically, emphasizing my exasperation that day.

I do need to figure out a cheap "around the house" solution. Doesn't need to be great, just needs to hold a bit, and have the "leg cuffs". I'm spending a lot of money on these things, it'd be nice to just use the good ones when going out of the house.

CG, Do they have to be plastic backed? If not, I would recommend Seni Super Plus. I plan on sampling them. They cost much less than Better Dry or Abena or Northshore care.

Rob, do you know what their shipping rates are to Canada? I couldn't seem to locate shipping info on their website.

They don't have to be plastic, they just need to handle a couple wetting, and not leak through the leg. Leg cuffs seem to be the key there but aren't and all of the Heavy style diapers. IMHO that should be standard.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Seni. That looks like it'd work. I'll try that one.

wayne,

I looked at XP Medical's website, and looked on their shipping tab, and found this:

For details about shipping to destinations beyond the 48 contiguous states, please contact Customer Care at 1-888-485-2268.

Hope this helps.
Rob

Ok, I did notice an email address as well IIRC. I hate it when companies hide their shipping policies. Thanks.

Fair warning on Seni. It has leak guards but you have to activate them. I wore the super sucessfully without leaks but leaked wearing hte super plus sitting down because I suspect I did not activate the leak guards well. I still don't know what I'm going to wear for work.

Thanks Rob,
What does "activating" the leak guards mean? Does that mean fluffing them up so they stand up? If so I'm doing that part right I think.

More than that. You need to actually pull them up with your fingers. I just had a seni super plus leak on me a few hours ago because either I didn't activate the leak guard or because I did not have the legs sealed enough.
