i had to go to the hospital last night to get iv antibiotics because i have a staph infection on my leg. its on the same leg i had surgery on and my doctors are worried it will go to my surgical sites.
then i had to go to urgent care this morning to get asthma inhailors
feeling like i cant catch a break.

i also have 3 abscesses on my hip and i had to show the doctor. i managed to get my onsie up and diaper and pul pants down without her seeing (to my knowledge).
im getting used to having doctors seeing me in diapers, though.

im tired, feel sick all the time, and just run down.

just needed to vent.

I don't know if you have access to YouTube other media sites exist and play the Just for Laughs videos this will give you a bit of a light relief and lift you up. Keep us updated how you are going keep hydrated water is good for skin and have plenty of yoghurt/milk/ice cream.

Venting is good so feel free to let us know how you are doing. One thing that you do not need to stress over is wearing diapers in a hospital or doctor's office. In both places diapers are a non event. Medical people see diapered adults all the time. They do not think anything about it. I can say that as I worked for 35 years as a registered nurse and saw many men and women wearing diapers. It was just another day at the office for me. I just took care of their needs. I would also give them a new diaper if it was needed, no big thing.

Life will get better, I promise. Soon enough, you will be helping someone else get through a rough time. Perhaps even me. In the mean time, sit back and watch a little Simpsons, crack a beer and relax knowing that your condition is only temporary.

justej,

Your medical challenges are serious indeed. I was glad to read that you could vent here, among friends and others who have walked in your shoes long enough to understand. Good luck and keep us informed.
