This morning had the most frightening and embarrising experience ever. I was sat down having breakfast and had the sudden urge to go my protection normally takes what it needs to however before I could move to the loo I had a complete flood what a mess just wanted to cry. Hope you do not mind this vent.

Greenbank,

Please vent away. We understand, having had our share of similar episodes and emotions.

Venting both is good for you and also reminds the rest of us that we are not alone in this either! :D

Greenbank,

I am sorry your day started off bad, I believe it was me last weekend with a major blow out. Hope your day has gotten better. Like John said, it is a constant reminder of our day to day struggles.

It can happen to anyone. Just think if you didn't have any protection on. Could have been much worse. :(

Vent Vent and Vent some more. That is one thing I like about this site and like JD said by venting lets us know we all have the same type of accidents at some time or another. Sorry it was a bad start to your day.

Greenbank, I'm so sorry that happened - been there and been there, so I truly understand the need to vent. I'm so grateful for this place where we can all be here for each other.

Wetters

P.S. I tried to reply earlier, but there was a problem with the site (very slow, and then my reply didn't post). Then my internet went down for a good bit of the day - We had a very big storm here.

Greenbank,

Vent away. I do it frequently. Here. Saying that accidents happen is true, and also heartless. They're embarrassing, exasperating, humiliating, and, well, add your own adjectives. We've all been there. We know the feeling, and it stinks. Give yourself some time to recover; gather your courage, and, when you can, go back out there and knock 'em dead. We're here for you.

Thank you all for your kindness I do not know what I would do without you all. Incontinence sucks you are correct CareDiverDiane it would have been a lot worse without protection. I felt so low yesterday it knocked my confidence the shame of it all why me what have I done to deserve this. The rest of the day did not venture too far from home and fired up YouTube to find some wacky clips to cheer me up. The rest of the day was normal from an incontinence perspective fingers crossed long may this continue. Your kind words, support and reassurances were truly fantastic. At times like these it is good to know that you are here to help.

Many thanks again to you all you are all true Angels

:( So sorry to hear about this green bank! I've had times like that where even the protection im weraing wasnt enough to stop the onslaught of urine, and I left a puddle on the flooor. Thankfully, this has only happeend at home Knock on wood. I fear however, that this reoccurance will happen more now that my medicaid supplier only offers the cheap brands.

Do you have access to products like Abena and Molicare, or Confidry? You may want to try those. Also, this june a new product came available. IT is a pocket diaper designed by an incontient indiviudal. I don't know if they would ship to the UK, but you can always ask. The person designing the inserts uses a combinaiton of flannel and terry hemp, which allows for both quick absorption and high capacity. In time past, when looking at diaper specs, i noticed it was either a choice between a good acquisiton rate or a higher total capacity.

We all have had unexpected floods and when times like this happen, you just have to roll with the punches. Greenbank, have you considered weraing underwear, and a pair of plastic pants over the diaper? I have done just that, and it has saved me more than once when protection proved not quite adequate for output.

I gotta go.. I'm teaching 3rd grade today.

Peace out!

Rob
