diaper dependency and convenience

Worsening incontinence is typical with giving in to diapers. The bladder resets to create urges at lower volumes and it becomes a lot harder to wait to relive yourself if you get accustomed to doing so in under a minute in your diaper. Of course you can delay this progression by forcing yourself to hold it but that requires great tolerance for an uncomfortable and sometimes even painful situation. So a lot of urge incontinent people eventually give in and become completely diaper dependent in a few years. As you can see from many of the other posts on this forum that does create some life issues but for many it actually increased the quality of their lives. One big positive is when you reach the point of going every 250ml you will almost never have a diaper leakage problem and can even wear just a pullup for those once in a while special occasions where a diaper would show too much and you only need a hour or two of protection.
