daylight savings and nighttime wetting

Wed Mar 14, 2018 8:29 am

Anyone ever heard of this? Since daytime savings started I have not had a strong urge to use the can prior to getting up at 5:30. This is weird. Last night I had a large meal at a restaurant, finished drinking my mixed drink at 8:30 pm (had a little over 1 mixed drink last night), and had a huge swig of lemonade after 10 pm when I took my tamsulosin pill and then went to bed. I got up at 5:30 a.m. with only a moderate urge to urinate.

I note that last winter I had wetting issues (strong urge) culminating with 2 accidents (complete soaking) in March and then not much of an issue for the next 6 months.

In the winter months one tends to sweat less than the summer hence more water is retained in the body and can end up in the bladder.
