Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Even though we all share in common a condition that can be frustrating, annoying, irritating, vexing and sometimes downright depressing, I'm guessing we all have things in our lives that we can appreciate and be thankful for. This board, for example, is one of the things I'm thankful for as it's nice having a place to talk with people who "get it". I'm thankful that I can manage my condition and not let it manage me. I'm thankful for my protection even when I'd rather not have to wear it. I'm thankful that I've got support when and where I need it from people who care.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and avoided the Black Friday chaos today!

I went out to the local hardware store several times on Friday & Saturday- working on a bunch of fix-it projects. Dry wall repair, re-carpet the daughter's cat pole, new pump for the hot tub. I'm exhausted now, but it has been a great weekend with all the kids at home and many friends coming by to chat. Looking forward to a slower day tomorrow watching NFL. Go Hawks!
