Justej, I've always left the explanation as medical supplies too. If someone tries to pry more, I just say, private medical supplies. They usually get the hint with that.

Pretty simple... NONE of your business... U see me asking what the parcels you got were? I really dislike nosey people! Their lives must be real boring to be snooping around in other people's business... argh! Puffy

Jeff,
Sitting or standing its not healthy to be in a damp diaper, doesn't matter if its holds a gallon. For good skin health stay as dry as possible.

I don't disagree. However a lot of the time I am on the road and wear what I think will be just a bit more protection than I need. I sometimes panic and change earlier than necessary, but for the most part, I just use a lot of zinc oxide. If I have an active case of diaper rash, that dictates more frequent changes of course. Thinking of buying diaper rash cream in 55 gallon drums...

Re the nosey neighbors - just tell them you collect boxes. It is true... sorta.

Jeff,

We agree. Zinc Oxide is a life-saver when it comes to preventing rashes. :D I use coconut oil at night as it is "cloth diaper friendly" and washes out easily without leaving a stain. During the day, I may wear coconut oil when I am relatively safe from having a bowel accident. However, if I am going to wear a diaper for a very long time, or at the very first indication of pre-rash irritation, I go back to zinc oxide. When I need heavy protection I prefer a paste with 40% zinc oxide. Nothing is going to come through that barrier!

In regard to the boxes, I have a story to tell that's quite humorous, two in fact. When I lived in a high rise, and went down to collect my diapers, which were in a plain brown box, one of my neighbors said I want one! I laughed because there was no way she could know that she was saying she wanted diapers! The other one was when i worked at camp last summer, When I got supplies there they are like, are you moving in? LOL

Anyway, I just said id rather not talk about what im getting, and it just dropped at that.

Peace out!

Rob
