I get really bad rashes sometimes as ive mentioned before on this board, that are real hard to get to with rash cream, because its in a crevice of the skin.. I was looking at the restore brief.. Has anyone tried it? How does it work exactly? I know they have rash cream built right into the lining. I spoke online to a sales rep about my issue, and he thinks the brief would help. Now, this wouldnt be used all the time.. most of the time, my rashes are pretty well handled with rash cream..but on ur backside they HURT..and are real hard to get to.

Anyway, i was wondering if anyone had any feedback on this product.

I have used the Restore Brief and I definitely can feel the lotion when when the diaper is wet. I also use a barrier cream and so far have managed to keep from getting a rash. I wear 24/7 and am in a power chair. The Restore Brief has standing leg barriers also. I only wish they would hold a little more but otherwise are really pretty good. The tape system holds very well also.

Thanks for the input trike rider... i have moderate to heavy incontinece..so not a complete lack of control..you say that you wish that the resore brief woud hold more..is it comporable to depend, attends, and tena? or is it more like store brand? Most of the time, i get away with Tena Ultra.. and operate on a change when wet basis.. however, in the future i may go with abena, and use 24/7..

Wow, this post is old..but i do appreciate the reply..currently i dont experience the tailbone rash as often as i once did..but it does happen sometimes.

The Restore Briefs a pretty good brief. It holds one good wetting but is not as absorbent as Prevail PM Briefs. I love the stand leg barriers and the tapes are really strong. I get them at: http://www.lynncore.com/adult-diapers.html

Good Luck,
Trike Rider
