For me the central incontinence related questions used to be -- how can I get less pee to go into my pants? how can I get more of it to go into the toilet/urinal? I was trying to get answers both from my doctors, and from this forum, and also from just trying different things and seeing what worked. When you're in that mode -- doctor said X, I tried Y, Z happened -- it's pretty engaging when you can kind of have this active dialog about how bodies actually work, how to actually hold in more pee for a longer amount of time, how to wet less in your pants, etc. If I'm just in diapers the whole time, there is a whole lot less to talk about! I'm lucky in that I don't have any skin concerns, and I tend to be ok with whatever brand of high capacity disposable happens to not be out of stock at the time when I go to place an order. |
