ILuvLA,

I have been watching with horrid fascination the TV news' descriptions of the wildfires in Los Angeles. The water shortages the fire fighters are experiencing have me especially worried for you. I do not know what I would do, how I would manage incontinence without ready laundry facilities. Please, stay safe and report in when you can.

Hello Patrick. Thanks for checking in. Thankfully, we moved outta LA back in 2018/2019. And nearly all of our family and most of our friends and business acquaintances have done the same. My few Cali remaining friends have shared some pretty insane “boots on the ground” pics/vids.

Nevertheless watching from afar and seeing very familiar streets and neighborhoods burn to the ground is disheartening. California used to be a beautiful state. Now it is a state of confusion, conflagration, and governmental confiscation.
