Yes! An old incontinence adage is "Finish the Void." Namely, once a void begins in the diaper it is best to finish it in the diaper rather than trying to stop it and dash to a toilet.

That recommendation is particularly significant for those of us who are fecal incontinent. One does not want to be in the middle of trying to change a messy diaper only to have one last spasm soiling our only clean diaper and, probably our clothing.
