Hi all
I am just wondering on peoples experiences of Betmiga (mirabegron) for mixed urinary incontinence and retention issues as my GP just prescribed it.
Thanks

I had only experiences with Tolterodin. Betmiga seems to have different side effect - so xerostomia does not happen that often. How ever - it was not listed in Germany for quite a long time (2012 - 2017) because the admission office doesn't see any positive effect compared to other spasmolytics. I would read the package leaflet carefully...
P.S.: An option could be also Trospiumchlorid

I was on Myrbetriq for several years. Although the side effects were tolerable (nowhere near as bad as they were with other medications) as my body became accustomed to it I began to get bladder spasms again, so, with my urologist's encouragement, I no longer take it. When covid19 no longer dominates our hospitals' attention, I plan to have my sphincterotomy renewed. I look forward to the blessed relief that surgery will bring.
