Well tomorrow is my SPC surgery day. Im both excited and nervous. Excited about the potential to finally be out of diapers and nervous about infection and just the surgery itself. Keep me in your thoughts. I have to be there at 5:30am and the surgery is at 7.

Here’s my late update. So the surgery itself went fine. But about an hour after I got home I had to call 911. I was taken to the hospital via ambulance. I was having spasms and my bag was full of blood. I got into a room immediately and was seen by doctors very quickly. They brought down one of the doctors that was in my surgery and a resident from urology. He flushed out my SPC several times and decided to put in a Foley catheter just in case it stopped working when i got home. I lost a lot of blood but as of tonight my bags are yellow and there is no blood. I get the foley out Wednesday (thank goodness) and so far I’m draining well. I did have one huge spasm and ended up peeing through my urethra and all over the bed. Ugh that sucked. But so far things are going ok now
