In love.. and my Gf doesnt care about my incontinence

Mon Aug 10, 2020 3:32 am

I just want to put this out there for anyone who is worried that having incontinence will stop you from having a sweetheart and falling in love. It won't. It will just weed out the ones who don't really care about you and are most likely after that one thing. The only thing I can see incontience complicating things is in the bedroom, but if you're like me and don't believe in having sex before marriage, then it isn't a problem. My girlfriend knows about my incontinence and she could care less. We recently started saying I love you to each other. We are not yet at the point of kissing, that will come later, but we do love each other. So if you're a young lad or lady who just doesn't feel like anyone can love you because of your internal plumbing issues downstairs, guess again. The right one is out there.. and the incontinence weeds out the would be lovers that are shallow and superficial.

Peace out!

I am very happy for you to have found a partner that accepts you as a whole person.
Many of us developed incontinence after we got married especially post-prostatectomy incontinence. I am glad that my wife hasn't changed her affections despite my "plumbing" issues and new underwear decisions.

Add my best wishes. Although incontinence can be annoying, embarrassing, and, occasionally even life-threatening, overcoming it with someone whom you love and who loves you can be both a reward and an encouragement for the rest of us. Hooray!
