In the days before disposables that were good enough to rely upon, I wore cloth diapers and plastic pants. I bought a sewing machine and learned to sew well enough to produce the diapers and plastic pants that I needed. Making diapers was relatively easy, but plastic pants were trickier because the side seams not only had to be stitched together. The had to glued to make them waterproof. |
