here we go

Finally, after close to a year of a multitude of cardiac related tests I am having a electrophysiology study and possible ablation done today. As I have mentioned in earlier posts I have several issues with my heart...ventricular tachycardia, apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and myocardial bridging. It's been quite the dilemma for the urologist to determine the best course of action first. Since some of my problems are electrical in nature, they have decided to tackle that part first. It may not do anything for my other issues, but it's a start. The doctors and nurses know of my incontinence in need for diapers, so if the procedure requires an overnight stay it should not be a problem. However, I still get a little anxious having all these people know of my incontinence. Anyway, I thought I would post this information, and could use your thoughts and prayers if you are of the praying kind.

Although incontinence can be embarrassing and occasionally painful, it is not generally life threatening. However, the cardiac problems you described can indeed be life threatening. Good luck getting through your tests, and report back when you can.
