aprt from those who use cloth diapers do any of you people out there use barrier creams with disposables.

i bought some barrier which i use on my bottom area but not sure about using around the inner legs as i am using disposable nappies (diapers) and not sure if it affects the product.

i would only use the barrier cream if i get leakage from the catheter stoma, sometimes it can leak small amounts of urine which i am unaware of until the soreness develops then i need to use a different type of cream to get rid of it and it does take quite a while for it to then settle down.

i would love some input with the above and if it can affect the disposable product.

i am in the UK so the barrier creams are different over here along with the creams i then need to get rid of any soreness when it develops sometimes it also needs an antibiotic if it gets fairly bad, no i am not afraid to go to the doctors to get the nappy diaper rash treated.

The barrier cream I use includes 12% zinc oxide. You might ask a dermatologist what they recommend. Good luck.

the old remedy zinc with castor oil i have not had a look at the one i am using think it is more antiseptic i do get fairly sore in the bottom area, when the district nurses come to see me again i will ask about using a general barrier cream.

the problem area is between my inner groin where urine and other matter can trickle i use anti thrush cream but more often it does need something more from the doctors to nip it in the bud.

so far i have not needed the second cream but wondering if it is needed how it will after the leg gathers of the disposable nappy (diaper)

all i know is that any cream can cause problems if it gets on the tabs.

good news i received a call and a care package has been put in place starting in due course this should of happened when i came out of hospital.

i was really poorly over the weekend major concerns as i lost the use of both hands thankfully it came back, i contacted my emergency doctors and they thought it may be the potassium problem but later on i then vomited in my sleep and things became worse.

i was checked for stroke and out of the blue when they examined my neck it is more likely that i have developed arthritis which is resulting in nerve problems and which may also be causing the dizziness however without vital testing it is hard to tell what is going on.

they tried to take my bloods today and couldn't seem to do it so are going to have another bash in due course, i believe if they still can't do it then i will have to go to hospital to have it done there.

i am a bit disappointed as i thought i was doing okay then this happens

We are currently in the middle of testing and editing a video on how Barrier creams/sprays affect disposable incontinence products, so just a hint yes they very well CAN affect the products some products are more affected than others with different active ingredients, one big hint I will share now the more Zinc Oxide in a cream or spray the more it can negatively affect the products! however, Zinc Oxide is not the only active ingredient that can affect a product. SO if you have a product that seems to have an issue with the cream you are using try a different cream (different active ingredient or a Different amount of an active ingredient) and the product may not be affected as much!
