Thank-you wetters.

I too want to thank my fellow vets.
I know that each of us has been through a lot, and some of us continue to to do so.
All we can do is take one day at a time and keep going.
And keep spare diapers when we go out lol.

Our local school district held a lengthy program to honor veterans. This year no mention was made of its origin, the armistice following WW I. Being able to share war stories with other vets was a rare opportunity. I dehydrated and nobody was the wiser.

I am a Navy Vet. from the 60's. On Nov. 11 I wore my military ribbons on my civilian shirt. Several people said to me "Thanks for your service." This meant a lot to me because the military was not appreciated back in the 60's. Today I feel that people understand what we did then.
