Howdy yall

Im sorry that I haven't been online much. My 91yo mother had to have emergency hernia surgery about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
She had to have an ambulance pick her up and get her to the hospital. She was in real bad shape. Im glad that she was able to call me for help. She went from having no pain to crying and bent over pain in about 1 1/2 hours. Im real glad that I only live a few minutes from her.

She is back home and doing a lot better now. She can not be left alone just yet and I have been staying at her house taking care of her.
Im guessing that in about another week she might be at the point that I can come back home. She has physical therapy coming over 4 days a week to help her get her strength back. She also has a visiting nurse that comes over twice a week and gives her a bath.

Well Ive been gone about 2 hours and I need to get back over there and take care of her.

Many of us are concerned about our in-laws or parents. You have our sympathies and prayers. May your strength sustain her and her extended family. We have all been there, Schoppy.

Add my concern to those above. I would not be able to walk without the assistance of physical therapy, so I recommend it highly. Give her as much of your time as she needs, and keep us informed.

I am glad she is doing better! also its really nice that you are able to take care of her! take your time we will be here for you!

Sending good thoughts for a quick recovery for your mom schoppy. I echo the sentiment that physical therapy is important. I have it twice a week at home too. Hope she continues to get better!

Howdy yall

Thank-you for all the great thoughts and prayers.
Mom is doing a lot better, she even fixed her own oatmeal for breakfast this morning.

Im guessing that maybe on Tuesday I might be able to come home. I dont feel that she can be totally by herself just yet.

Well I need to get back over there, I just stopped by my house to refill my weekly pill box and to check on my fish pond.
Had to check on my Koi hehe
