Can anyone recommend (hopefully from experience) a good "hybrid" diaper, one with plasitic front and rear but cloth/breathable sides? I'm looking for something other than full "cloth-like" that will be cooler than full plastic for the coming summer months.

The only one I found that worked for me was the Molicare Comfort Super but I don't think they make this version anymore now they have the Premium Super and it is identical except it is all "clothlike" for the purpose I use this product it still works for me but I didn't prefer the Comfort Super version better.

You may still be able to buy the comfort super but the retailers I always purchase it from no longer carry it.

Thanks for the recommendation realworldic, the Molicare Comfort Super sounds just like what I was looking for. BTW...I was able to find them for sale (by the case only) on the CheapChux website. But before I buy a whole case I was wondering if you could tell me how you feel the capacity compares to my go-to Abena L4's?

I'm not sure if they are also available in the US, but I had good experiences with this:

before I changed to the Flex Version.

They are nearly identical to the Premium Super Plus that we tested in 2017, It is not at the level of the Abena we rated the Abena for over 8hrs overnight and the Molicare 6 hours daytime. It is a great daytime product because it is super thin and discreet but able to handle 900ml at normal flow rates, so several average wettings. the new version of all "clothlike" is actually very good as well.

realworldic: Thanks again it sounds like the Molicares will be perfect for those hot summer days when I'm out and about.

michael_dahlke: Thanks for the info but I don't think those are available here in the US.

Hey realworldic,

As I wrote - I used them. Sine round about a year I wear the flex version (https://www.attends.de/_literature_139026/Attends_Adjustable_Fact_Sheet) for a couple of reasons. First of all the Flex have - as the name says - flexible wings. This make it easy to pull them down like pants if I make it to the toilet. On the other hand I can change them like a normal diaper without getting out of my cloth when I need a new ones. More over they have a much higher capacity then pants and work also while sitting or with a heavy surges. This is also important for me, because a typical case where thinks still went wrong is e.g. when I‘m on my way back home and stuckup in a traffic jam with my car.

To be honest - I personaly prefer the textil surface style, because I feel they stay cooler and don‘t crackle that much and I donˋt sweating that much in them compared to the plastic backed version.

Per realworldic's recommendation I just ordered a case of the "Hybrid" (cloth sides PE center/back) Molicare Comfort Super diapers for use here in Florida's heat and humidity this summer. I'll let everyone know how they perform after I get a chance to check them out. Might be a little while yet as the temps down here are still moderate and my PE backed Abena L4's are still pretty comfortable.
