Thanks Patrick! I was able to do it again here at home. I think I've got the hang of it! Don't get me wrong I friggin hate it. But at least I can do it now.

Thanks everyone. They gave me 2 different types of catheters. The speedicath and a pocket one. I cant seem to get the hang of the speedicath but the pocket I can get every time. I'm almost out of the pocket ones so I'll have to contact my supplier to have them overnight some to me. I've been wearing abena pull ups because I leak a little bit still. But this is so much progress. I thought I'd never get it. Like I was with wearing tabbed diapers I'm sure I'll get used to this too. I'll still wear diapers at night because with some of my meds I just cant wake up to cath. But maybe that will change too. Thanks for all your support. This place is amazing.

One thing I thought I'd ask. I'm using a 14 French catheter. I've been cathing laying down (haven't gotten the hang of standing up yet). I lay on a chux pad because I leak when pulling out and sometimes while I'm cathing. Will standing up fix this and do I maybe need a bigger catheter? Thanks

Just wanted to update that I successfully cathed on the toilet. I'll be staying home all weekend (minus lunch with a friend on Sunday) and I will be trying to time cath every 5 hours. I recieved my order for the compact speedicath and those things make a world of difference.
