Well man's physical

Well, the anxiety of my GP seeing me in a diaper is happening again. I have my well man's physical next Monday. My doctor knows of my prostatectomy/diverticulotomy, and my history of poor bladder control, but I still get nervous and anxious whenever I see him. This doesn't happen when I see my urologist. Why should it be any different? Do any others react similarly?

Hi DP66
I use to worry about it but not any more I just keep reminding my self there are millions of us back in diapers as adults for medical issues and doctors seeing people in diapers is just another day at the office.

My gp is very understanding of my incontinence issues and has in the past tried (unsuccessfully) to get diapers through my insurance. Whenever I meet a new doctor though I do get nervous. However I'm always upfront about it and luckily have not had negative responses. If a doctor gave me grief, though, I'd quickly find a new one.

My doctors have been more than positive about my decision to wear diapers, and have questioned me occasionally about them, obviously intending to use my answers to advise their other patients.
