Arrgh! The washing machine developed a problem with the door-locking mechanism (front-loader), and I had a full bin of diapers to wash. Yesterday I managed to hand-wash in the pail itself, and, 2 rinses later, wrung them out as best I could and put them in the dryer.

Sears technicians can't come until Wednesday, so I guess I'll be running through my supply of Molicare Super-Plus until then! I think I'll be appreciating the modern conveniences more after this....

We had a problem with our dryer several months ago which also called for a technician to come out and fix the problem. Luckily he was here in two days as I had two diaper pails full of wet cloth diapers and plastic pants. I was dreading a trip to the laundromat if the problem could not be quickly corrected. I also switched to disposable briefs until the dryer was fixed.
