Tomorrow, I am having surgery to insert a pin into my fractured finger and I was wondering what to do about my bladder issues. I havent had any issues for over a week but I am afraid the anaestethia might cause issues would it be worth telling the nurse before hand? I think they won't be putting me all the way under but giving me enough to make me loopy and out of it this also makes me worry that I might have an accident. Does anyone have any advice?

Wear whatever you do at night. If they ask, just tell them you need it.

Defiantly wear your night time protection, just tell the nurse when you check in and your doctor when he come to see you before the operation. its better to be safe then sorry you didnt wear.

hope your surgery goes well and you recover quickly

I was glad to read that your surgery went well. Now let's hope for an uneventful and speedy recovery.
