thank you all for an invaluable place to help me navigate my experience with incontinence.
its been over a year now and im dealing much better than i was when this all started. everyone has helped me immensely with advice, support, and words of wisdom when there was nowhere else for me to turn.
i know i tend to post a lot and im sorry for that. im one of those people who asks a lot of questions.

and thank you schoppy for maintaning the board and all the moderaters for keeping things running smoothly.

For every one question you post, there are probably ten others that come here anonymously and see the answers you get. Believe it or not, but your questions help others too. So post away.

Agree, it is amazing how many members, and even people who never register, who just sign up to read and lurk, probably 80+ % of them, so lots of others looking for info too, it is hard to find good help for incon issues on the internet without going sideways in the first 3 links you hit! Puffy

Hahahahahahahah. Very true puffy. Very true. Before i stumbled upon this site i came up on some um. Interesting? Sites.

That is what keeps me coming back justej, is the knowledge that is shared here and the advice given. As far as going sideways, it is very easy just googling a brand of diaper and next thing you know you are looking at something that cannot be unseen.

Thank-you for the kind words. When we first started the site we talked about keeping it all/part of it private but thats not what we wanted.
Im not sure of the number of people that this site has helped, but I know its a lot more than just the ones that have registered.
That just makes me real happy, that someone out there in never never land was able to start to find some help and answers to their questions on incontinence.

When we started it MANY MANY moons ago, there was very little on the internet at all and even less on the topic of incontinence.
Back then the internet was just starting to grow and no where near what it is now.
LOL I remember the 75 baud modems that you had to put your phone handset on to connect with. but I think thats telling my age.

I am really surprised and happy about how this site has grown over the years. Its a testiment to the people here on the site. Everyone here has the same thing going for them, we all have incontinence. We can all relate to each other and not have to worry about giving out any personal information. Its bad enough to have to admit to yourself that you may have a problem let alone go on some site that wants your personal info. Especially for the people that are just starting to have problems.

The only stupid question is the one thats not asked. If a person has a question then there must be some reason they are searching for an answer.
Incontinence can and has affected everyone regardless of age and If this site is one that they find, then I hope that they find some help or at least the knowledge that they are not alone.

We are all like a family here and it is everyone on here that has made this site what it is. A Caring Community

I do a lot of Google searching on incontinence issues, and have been surprised at how may of the results come from the discussions on this forum. It is easy to forget how much valuable material can be found in our archives. Schoppy made the right decision by not making our discussions private. I am sure that many who are recently incontinent and too embarrassed to post a message have made good use of the collective wisdom in our older discussions. For my self, I can say that I have gone back several years looking at discussions on certain themes.
