My wife and I have been wanting to get a small dog. As someone who is incontinent, what can I expect in doggy behavior around someone wearing diapers and (to a dog) smelling strongly of urine? So far, my limited exposure to the doggy pets of friends has not evoked any embarrassing sniffing at my crotch, etc., but I do not know whether that is typical. --John |

Hi John you should be fine, I have been around dogs with no issues Imwas conserned as well at first since one of my customers has 3 dogs thats can find treats that are still sealed in the vacuum pouch some Dogs do sniff the crotch area some times but that happens even if some one is not wearing a diaper. Hope you find a good dog, Rob |

I have a couple of Jack Russel terriers. They do not pay any particular attention to my diapers. |

My dog really doesn't care, however do be careful with any used briefs and wear you out them as putting them in a bin/trash can where a dog can get into can be messy as I found out once (luckily dog was fine!) apart from that no diffrebt to someone who wears normal underwear |

Thanks to all for your responses. That is very encouraging. Cycling guy - that makes sense. I don't think that SAP gel crystals would do much good for a dog's digestive tract. --John |
