It' is a lot of work at night but it's worth it to wake up in a dry bed. I hate washing sheets all the time.

Yes Ma'am, I could see how that would be a pain in the keester!

Joe, I am a female bedwetter, and I sleep on my stomach as well. I needed to upgrade my nighttime protection a few months ago, and another female member here recommended Abri-Flex pull-ups. I need a pull-up because I have stroke-related mobility challenges and motor skills deficits. I lack the manual dexterity required to get a good fit with a diaper.
Abri-Flex performs extremely well for me overnight. I agree that they're not cheap, but one gets what one pays for.

I'm also bedwetter. Dry24/7 leak on me if I don't pull the bulk of them forward, and folks the top inward. I'm also a belly sleeper.
I like the construction and quality, but the padding placement doesn't work well for me.

I'll try the Abri Flex pull ups. I have better luck with the briefs with side tape though
