Disposables or cloth diapers? And why?

I got some samples from DMES.com (which I would recommend to anyone looking to try out new brands and makes of diapers) and I have to say I didn't like the Abena Abri-form Premium Air Plus M4. It was absorbent enough but the padding was very inflexible and didn't really give. Most diapers I have used tend to conform to the shape of my body, and this one just didn't give. It was uncomfortable to sleep in. I just wonder, not having tried any other Abenas, if the padding in all their products are like this.

My primary reasons for not liking the Abena Air Plus have to do with the clothlike outer shell.
1: It stretches out after a while, and the diaper sags.
2: It is too "breathable". air in, air out. But what comes out is a really bad smell when the product is wet. If I can smell it I know others can too, that's not good.
3: The "breathable" cover also seeps moisture, which means the diaper feels damp on the outside once it has been used.
I much prefer the traditional plastic backed Abenas... they don't have any of those problems.

I do like the plastic backed M4s haven't tried the cloth backed. I prefer the plastic backed over the cloth backed hands down in other brands.
