Abena X Plus

Sun Nov 06, 2005 12:32 pm

Hi folks, Tooshy posted a question about Abena XPlus but it's buried as a reply to the special custom diaper for stomac sleepers.

He thinks they are good but they are pricey and wondering what people thought about the value...cost vs permformance.

I'll start off saying they are a good value in my opinion. The XPlus has been right up there with Molicare and the European Tena Maxi that is not available here and nothing like the Tenas we have here in the States.

I'd suggest Tooshy visit Gary's XP Medical site; the comparison of diaper performance he has done is an outstanding job!

I have tried just about every diaper on the market and NOTHING holds a candle to the X-plus, IMHO. Molicare has some that are in the same league, but not quite as absorbent. I think the X-plus is THE BEST bang for the buck...IF you practice wet diaper wearing. I find that I can go for 8-12 hours with one X-plus, and several complete wettings. Most other diapers that I have tried, such as drugstore-brand types, are only good for one wetting, after which they must be changed. And even after one wetting they will often leak. So, by this reasoning I figure the X-plus is at least 4 times the value and worth every penny...plus they give me greater peace of mind. :)
