Personally I prefer useing cloth diapers myself. After trial and error I can now sleep through the night without waking up in a wet bed. I used disposables for years, but always had a problem with leaks. Now I can go without worrying about wet spots.

I use Angel Fluff Heavy Flannel cloth diapers for overnight, but I find it very hard to get the pins through the dense material, which makes it a challenge to get them pinned tightly.

Would it be easier to get the pins through overnight weight gauze diapers?

Falcon,
I bought some heavy weight diapers from Angelfluff a long time ago(like 6 years) and still have one pair. It is the flat type, not contour, and it's pretty thin at the pinning area. I don't have any problem with them.
My gauze diapers are a little thicker, but the diaper pin easily goes through it.
I one time bought a contour diaper from Loving Comfort diapers. They had a terrycloth inner panel and it was impossible to pin those with your standard baby diaper pin. I ended up getting some oversize pins from ACD which worked pretty well. Those contiur diapers are nice, but I do alot better usuing a standard flat diaper and using baby prefolds as insert doublers. Hope I have given you some help! .........Paul Martin

Thanks, Paul.

One more reason to try gauze, I think. And, yes, large pins are a necessity.
