Well, I guess life got away from me but after a hiatus I'm back. The wife got in a bad car accident and taking care of her and the kids was a lot of work, I racked out every night too tired to think. But enough about me, about my new issue. My local VA stopped being able to source the ConfiDry 24/7's so I asked for the Abena L4 diapers. I thought they were poly backed but got cloth outer diapers that leak like a sieve. Do they not make plastic backed diapers anymore? Help, I need some help before I go back to climb Mount Pharmacy to slay the cheapskate vendors who buy my diapers.

Any information is great!!

I will also recommend the Secure X-Plus and BetterDry as suitable alternatives to the previously purchased ConfiDry diapers.

I get abri-form premium plastic backed briefs from the VA. Not sure where they source them from. Their purchasing agents are generally pretty resourceful. I’m actually allergic to cloth backed diapers so they are a big no. The pharmacist I work with at the VA gets me what I need without complaint. I make sure to always be respectful and thank them.

I don't have any dealings with the VA but I know for sure that they still make the Abena L4's in plastic backed, and in fact it's one of my regular go-to diapers.

Don: Thanks, I will get back with them and see. The pharmacy seemed woefully uninformed, but they've started working with me. I appreciate that information.

Padded53: Thanks, I haven't tried them other than to know they fit because all of the cloth ones tend to sag and droop off of me. Glad to know the plastic ones are good!

Porkchop,
I believe you want the abriform 4 original style. If I not mistaken all of the other styles are cloth backed. It might help to give the pharmacy the sku number for them. They are on xp's site here:
https://www.xpmedical.com/briefs/abena- ... b-formo-xp

Good luck. I can't do cloth cause they give me a rash.

Do you know if they make the original version in XL size?

Is it just me that has trouble with sticky tabs on cloth backed diapers? I like abena plastic backed, and have tried the cloth backed, but the sticky tabs for me don't stick as well. In my humble opinion sticky tabs are really designed for plastic backed products, and cloth backed should be hook and loop/velcro.

PS. Seni has worked MUCH better for me in that regard than Abena cloth backed.

Peace out!

Rob
