whats the difference between Tena slip ...

Mon Apr 17, 2017 12:42 pm

Hi all,
I've noticed that Tena has update their slips over the last year. you have now Tena slip original maxi, Tena slip maxi and Tena slip active fit maxi. Can anyone tell me the difference? The price levels are for sure different. The Tena slip original maxi medium costs Euro 12.68, the Tena slip maxi medium costs Euro 16.66 and the Tena slip active fit maxi medium costs Euro 19.99. So, there's quiet some price difference, but what's the product difference? greetings, Bob

In the UK I've just seen Tena slip maxi which is cloth backed after they changed it from plastic years ago. Active fit is plastic... The name suggests to me that it has a different shape though so my guess would be that original is most likely the original plastic ones, then there's the newer cloth backed, and then the even newer 'active fit'. The site I use I the UK clearly identifies which are plastic (pe backed) and which are not.

As tangerine said, the difference is the outer cover, cloth-like vs. plastic. I have some of the old Tena Slip Maxi, the new Maxi the new Active Fit. They are almost identical. The cut and fit are the same across all three. The only difference I have noticed is that the new Maxi with the cloth-like cover is slightly thicker than the old Maxi or Active Fit.
