Regarding the Tena Slip Maxi's, I received an email from Gary at XP Med saying that his next shipment of the Tena Slip Maxi's, due in late September, will be plastic-backed. However, he cannot guarantee that later in the year. For those who wish and can do so, it is time to stock up on the plastic version. I certainly intend to do that. I learned my lesson by not buying an extra case of the Abena Abri-Form L3 with the plastic backing before it disappeared.

Also add the Confidry 24/7 to the list of platic backed. And if you don't mind buying from a non-medical website (more AB?DL focused), Bambino makes a plain white plastic backed diaper that is pretty good too.

As for Alaina's original question, I'm not sure any diaper will last with full bladder releases for 24 hours. They are just not designed that way. The Wellness brand that claimes to be better absorbancy than others needs to be changed at least 3 times a day according to their website.

For side sleeping, The Slip Maxi may not fit the bill. Given the cut and coverage, I was not willing to try it out for overnight use.

If you side sleep, I'd recommend the ComfiDry 24/7 or A+ Level 4. Better yet, cloth.

Two night weight cloth diapers at night would more than do it. More comfortable and more absorbent than any disposable diaper. And works in any position. Since you only have 2 big events a day this would take care of one of them - cloth diapers also last more than 5 years. Papa
