I received an email from Liveanaew, formally XP Medical about a new diaper. It is called Beyond XP5000. It looks like a good product, but would like to know if anyone has tried this new diaper? I can't seem to find any reviews. It may be too new to be reviewed. If anyone has tried this diaper, I would like their thoughts. I'm always a little nervous about trying anything new without reading more about it.
Thanks for any input.
Dennis

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve ordered some samples that should arrive next week.

Beyond XP5000 is a new house brand diaper for XP Medical. Some specs are below:

White plastic-backed. Max usable capacity per XP Med is 74 oz. (2,188 ml). That is similar to ConfiDry Dry 24/7. No ISO maximum absorbency is listed. Front and rear elastic waistbands. Internal standing leak guards (2” tall) . "Strong" hook and loop tabs. Case of 48 in size Large costs $91. 95 ($1.92 ea.) from XP Medical.

That seems worth checking out.

Two samples I got the tapes ripped off both.
I will not be buying these.

I just got my size Large samples today. The tapes don't appear to be attached to the diaper securely, I could see them ripping off especially during application. The velcro taping panel seems sturdy enough though I noticed it peeling away at the corners a bit.

A large Comfydry or Northshore diaper has a rise that goes to my actual waistline (navel) which gives me a good fit. These are lower rise compared to a lot of diapers. I am looking forward to trying them in XL. I have a case of Large on order.

As to performance, I'm in the trial stage, will report back.

I’ve been wearing these for the last couple of days (size large), and they seem to work pretty good. The tapes are easy to apply and re apply, and I haven’t had any tape failures. I like how soft the inner liner is, and they seem to be plenty absorbent with out being overly bulky. The leak guards are nice and tall and they seem to do their job. These are definitely worth trying.

I've tried the xp5000 for several days now.
I like them
Pros: the hooks are useful, not too noisy. good absorbency like confidry, betterdry.
Cons: none so far
