Yes, I have gone through a lot of tests as well - it was in my late teens actually when I have struggled the most with incontinence both mentally and physically and I gotta say that I would prefer permanent incontinence - like I have to those symptoms that OP got. Really, just having incontinence depending on some factors would put too much pressure on me mentally and as I had already problems with that I'm pretty sure it would be much harder for me to enjoy life if I had to worry about incontinence that happens every three days for example because I'm stressed or because I ate too much of that etc. Now I don't care really, I stick to a proper diet, work out and I live pretty healthy lifestyle, but when I get a drink or smoke and eat at McDonalds two days in a row it doesn't put such a pressure on me because it doesn't change a fact, worse case I piss and defecate into my diapers a bit often, but it's not such a big deal and I try to enjoy life in many other areas
