Hurray - another bowel accident! However, it hasn't been seven weeks this time - it has been 14 weeks since the previous accident! :D IMHO, not bad at all.

Again, most of this success is due to my diligent use of daily morning enemas to manage my fecal incontinence. Even so, I do not expect successes like this one to recur often. I also realize that daily morning enemas will not appeal to most people. However, I guarantee that they will wake you up in the morning!

14 weeks is impressive! I went 3 weeks recently and wanted to give myself a pat on the back for it.

I still find it funny for you to say hooray I pooped my diaper.. Reminds me of a special needs blog I read about a disabled boy whos double incon and has to rely on his parents for all his care and has trouble making bowel movements in the past.. www.maxwatson.org.

I can't remember when my last fecal episode was.. only that i THINK it happened at lowes.. and I had to inconvinence my sib and sib in law and nephew.. and they had to comment on the smell.. avoiding constipation is huge. I use fleet enemas and mrilax when I remember.

Peace out!

I've been bowel and bladder incon for several years due to a spinal cord injury. I don't let my incon manage me, I manage it by changing 3, or 4 times at timed intervals. I found changing at timed intervals worked better for me, but different people have different needs and different daily agendas. What works best for me may not work for others so do whatever you think works best for you.

just my thoughts.
