WOW! What I would give for accessible toilets like that in the US. Hell those bathrooms are bigger than my apartment bathroom! Y'all are seriously lucky. |

Very nice! I hope the general public doesn't spoil the resource by vandalism. If that happens they'll be under lock and key and then it's back to the same basic problem. |

Yes, that's what concerns me about these facilities; building them is easier than keeping them in working condition whether they get vandalised or just break down. The hoist in particular. I know a lot of disabled people who are elated at having one installed nearby because it means not having to change on the floor, wear a nappy they don't need (they are toilets, not just adult changing rooms) or have catheters installed that aren't medically necessary. But maintenance will be an ongoing cost. |
